The 337 Building is coming down!

Recent release by Adam Price concerning the art project on 337 s. 400e. If you've never seen it, drop by the building and check out the website for an introduction.

Hopefully you will agree with me that this announcement falls under the category of "better late than never." Demolition of the 337 building will occur on April 5, 2008 (a Saturday) between 9 am and 2 pm!!! You are all cordially invited to attend.

I've attached a photo of the new banner that went up on the outside of the building yesterday, advertising both the demolition and the upcoming Art Center show. The banner looks way cooler in person so stop by if you have a chance, and check out some of the new artwork around the building as well.

This is great news! With the destruction of the building and the upcoming Art Center show artists in SLC will be forced to raise the bar and come up with some brand new insanity for 2008. So come on down for the long-awaited destruction, light a candle and pour a drink for the art gone by. From there we'll kick off the next creative chapter in this here grid.
